Landrie Lay

When a family member has cancer you walk through it all together, and that’s just what Landrie and her family did. Landrie’s mom said, “You feel like you are on a train and the brakes don’t work and you are never going to get off of it. Every bruise, every pain, every fever can be life changing.”

Landrie has a lot of physical deficits from her transplant and Graft vs Host Disease. Most of these are permanent and her life may never be the same. Landrie is smart beyond her years and for a second grader she reads on a 5th grade level. She’s just getting started.

When she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian. For now, you can find her enjoying all things Disney and princesses. Landrie can’t wait to be a model in the fashion show because she loves pretty dresses!
