Isabela Lam, 6

Isabela, lovingly known as Izzy, is a resilient fighter. Shortly after her 3rd birthday, she was diagnosed with stage 2 wilms tumor. After bravely completing treatment in 2022, her family thought the cancer journey was behind them. However, just before a long-awaited trip to Hawaii, Izzy was diagnosed with secondary acute myeloid leukemia, a rare side effect of her previous treatment. Against the odds, she responded well to chemotherapy and received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from a donor in Germany in June 2024. Now, she is focused on recovery and looking forward to being cancer-free.

A first grader with a big heart, Izzy dreams of becoming a veterinarian and loves spending time with her dog, Oreo. She loves painting, drawing with her sister, and singing karaoke—especially “Be Kind” by Marshmello and Halsey.

She can’t wait to walk in the Fashion Show, excited to dress up after spending so much time in hospital gowns.
